About Strive | Making Kids’ Education Joyful & Meaningful

Strive is an online coding school for kids (8-16). We ignite kids' passion for coding through joyful 1:1 online classes with expert teachers that kids love. We focus, above all else, on making the process of learning joyful.

  • We’re starting with coding, but we’re building the content and platform to redefine STEM education globally by teaching math, science, and other school subjects through coding.

What you’ll do

In the short term; you’ll make joyful and meaningful coding education accessible to 1000s of students in Singapore by leading our customer acquisition strategy and execution.

In the long term, you’ll help spread Strive globally into schools, universities, and onto every child’s laptop so that every student who learns coding, math, and science does so with a smile on their face.

Responsibilities | Run the end-to-end strategy and execution of how we acquire customers.

  • Designing and optimizing every stage of the customer journey, acquisition, conversion, retention, and referral.
  • Run the go-to-market for all of Strive’s products.
  • Run all our digital marketing.
  • Running the sales engine.
  • Strategic partnerships.
  • Manage the Strive brand and messaging strategy.
  • Hire and manage the Strive, sales, marketing, and growth team.

You’ll be given a marketing budget and be tasked to run the growth of Strive as if it were your own company.

Who you are

You are an entrepreneurial, marketing, and sales powerhouse. Maybe you’ve built and started your own company and are looking for something new, or you’ve been working in leadership at a dry corporate job and are looking for something more meaningful.

You’re a storyteller with a deep empathy for people and can understand and express their needs.

You have an exceptional ability to write and create visuals, videos, or content that drives a message.

You’re data-orientated, with an experimentation mindset.

A stellar people leader and manager. You build and support high-performing, thriving organizations.

We’re looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. If you meet these requirements, you are encouraged to apply. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.

Minimum requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in marketing & growth, ideally in startups
  • At least 2+ years in a leadership position
  • Experience working on marketing or growth throughout a product’s lifecycle
  • Passionate about education for kids


  • You’re an ex-founder
  • Experience in education, schools, or the EdTech market
  • You know how to code


  • Preferred Locations: Asia/Singapore, South Africa, Europe (Candidates who can support the GMT+8 timezone within 9 am-9 pm SGT are welcome.)
  • The role is available as a full-time position.


  • $100k-$200k SGD p.a.
  • A substantial equity package.
