Strive https://www.strivemath.com/ teaches a revolutionary new approach to math education, by teaching math through code
. We take the grade 7-12 math syllabus and create fun and inspirational coding projects with P5JS. We do 1-1 live online classes via zoom where we guide students step by step through creating a particular project.
Strive exists to make math education more meaningful and applicable to the real world. To equip students with the tools they need to lead meaningful and happy lives.
We are a new startup lead by young and energetic entreprenuers.

The team consists of 15 global team members from Singapore, South Africa, Egypt, India and the USA.
Description
This role entails two major responsibilities
- Teacher training: Strive hires teachers from around the world who engage in 1-1 lessons with our students. We have an opinionated style of teaching, which encourages the student to struggle and take learning into their own hands. In this role, you will need to design and iterate a teacher training process and take teachers through the process.
- Content creation: Strive creates it's own math through code syllabus, you'll be responsible for refining this syllabus and creating lesson plans, teachers will use in class.
Requirements
- A passion for education and Strive's vision for it's future.
- Experience in teaching/tutoring school students.
- Enjoys teaching both kids and adults.
- Has a strong understanding of the K1-12 math syllabus.
- Knows how to code.
- Writes exceptional documentation and notes - you will be helping to create many of the systems and processes at Strive.
- Bonus: studying/studied a degree in the domain of education
- Bonus: experience in Javascript & P5JS
- Bonus: Familiar with software like Notion & Airtable
Logistics
- This is a full time internship during your university holidays.
- We are completely remote so you can work from anywhere. However, we will work together 2-3 days a week.
- $500-$1500 monthly stipend depending on skill and time availability.
